Bird Photo Competition 2 2014 Results

The standard of photography in the latest bird photo competition was amazingly high. The winner is a professional photographer with one of his bird photos published on the cover of the a National Geographic magazine. When the standard of photography is this high it is very difficult for amateur photographers to win such a competition. We welcome entries from professionals and amateurs, but at the end of the day the judge will choose the best photo, and the judge does not know who took each photo.

Congratulations to the winner who has won $360.00 plus a Leica C worth $700. We look forward to hearing from the winner soon but we suspect he could be cooped-up in a bird hide somewhere.

Thank you to everyone who entered their wonderful bird photos. There were 300 entries. Thanks also to our bird photo judge Mike Atkinson.
