- there's nothing better than a terrier being a terrier ... beautiful capture and a beautiful image with lovely rich tones and lovely light. and the low angle makes you feel like you are there and can almost hear that bark! wonderfully done. ~ illona

- Thank you Ms Haus for this Mark of Excellence! This is definitely my "terrier being a terrier"! He is a 2 year old RUSSELL TERRIER and the squirrels make him crazy! I shot this with my Leica M9 + Summilux 35mm @ f1.4. Congratulations to all the winners, the competition was stiff! I am Claudia Robinson from Charleston, South Carolina.

- Thank you! For this photo I took my dog out into the fields in the evening. I made him sit in the shadow, surrounded by these poppies. There was light around that spot which added a nice effect to the grass behind him. I used a Canon 5D Mark III and the Canon 135mm 2 lens for this photo.
