  • This picture was taken with a Panasonic FZ150 (ISO 200 F5.2 1/125). Post processing included cropping and slight adjustments to brightness and contrast. I started getting into bird photography the last few years and bluebirds are among my favorites to photograph. It’s great to be included alongside so many wonderful photographers. Your talent and creativity are inspiring! Audrey – Nashville, Tennessee

  • Hi everyone, I started shooting in 2006 on various digital cameras. This one here is a shot taken in 2009 with a Nikon D80 in Paltinis, Sibiu, Romania during a very bad weather with a good light potential. For more than a year I am only shooting film and I am mainly interested in photojournalism, documentary and street. Best regards, Sorin Vidis

  • My name is Juan Guevara. Throughout time, humans have been inspired by images both real and imaginary. Great artists have created such visions on film and canvas The ability to capture those moments, to tell a story or convey a message and put them on photo paper or canvas is the real challenge and art. I have been influenced and inspired by many great photographers and artists, both living and passed, to do the same. Capturing a moment, conveying a message and maybe telling a story that can possibly impact someones life and to tap into they're own creative desires is Juan's goal as a photographer Currently, I am both a Lineman for an electrical utility in Southern California where I plan on finishing my career and also a student of Photography at Cypress College where I am learning my new career as a photographer in the Orange County area of Southern California. I capture my images with my Nikon D300s and I use Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop for all my post processing

  • Thank you for all the votes! It is an honor to receive a mark of excellence from www.i-shot-it.com, especially considering the quality of so many other submissions. This shot was taken from my living room in North Swanzey, New Hampshire at Wilson Pond. Rain or shine, there are always people fishing, sometimes just 20 or so feet from our living room window. It was shot with a Sony NEX 3 with an old manual zoom lens at 300mm. Thanks again for all the votes. N. M. Schumacher.
