This night scene stands out from many other wonderful night shots because the image would also work in day light too because the idea and composition encompasses more. The repeating pattern and shapes of the pillars in the water and in the buildings as well as the smooth water from the long exposure matching the sky help helps bring the image together. Nicely done!

The view from Brooklyn Bridge park to the skyline of lower Manhattan is for me one of the best places in New York, very peaceful and impressive and I can only recommend everybody to go there in the evening...
