Your sun is burned out which is a shame, it is distracting and makes the picture uncomfortable to look at. It looks as though there is nice light slanting through the mountains towards the left and i wonder if there wouldn’t have been a better photo looking that way without the sun and all its flare...

What an amazing waterfall and i wonder how that chap got up on the rock! There is plenty of the wow factor here and your photo has been nicely taken. Perhaps a better foreground and/or a wider angled lens would have brought more impact…

Quite beautiful, it looks very much like an oil canvas. The misty conditions make a low contrast scene which you have beautifully exposed giving plenty space to the empty sky which interacts beautifully with the ground, setting off the pastel colours. Great shot.

Well this has been done often before but you have done it very well! All lines lead to the centre of this Glen. You have split your composition straight across the middle to create those strong lead lines and you have given us a true feel of this highland scene. Your tonal processing is nice but has given the detail a rather grainy effect, though i do like the sepia look here.

The Fairy pools, a location i know well and enjoy coming back to. You have managed to get nice detail in the lower half of this picture but the price for that is an over exposed rather washed out top half. A neutral density grad filter would really have helped you balance out that problem and would have brought lots more detail to the Cuillins and sky.

A seat with a view indeed, and a great view it is too. Your photograph has been nicely taken with all tones well exposed and focus throughout. Well done, i like the fun attitude and the beautiful evening light.

This is too much city and not enough nature for this theme. Maybe you should try the city competition?

A difficult one to pull off but this moonlight seascape has all the drama of a real night out on the shore, a night time photograph which looks like night time. Great technical skill and experience here, well done.

You have captured the scene very beautifully, the trees are so expressive and you have really shown them to their best with your magnificent composition. You have enhanced your original photograph with talent making a genuine and original image of art. You obviously have great photographic and artistic talent and you know what you are doing in the digital lab. This picture though an absolute beauty is just a little too far down the manipulation road to win this photography competition.
