Life in the city, Shanghai or Berlin, It’s up too the viewer to figure out the elements. There’s something about this that makes us keep looking.

Neither Shanghai or Berlin, though it could certainly be either, this is downtown Toronto. I was initially drawn to the contrasts of the background, both light and dark, as well as natural and man made. I decided to wait for some subjects and did not have to wait long for these two interesting figures to converge in opposing directions. Taken with the camera I had on me at the time.
