let me first say that this has probably been the most difficult I Shot It Dog Photo Competition to judge thus far. EVERY photo in these top ten is a winner, and there is simply no way to rank them in any way. they are ALL winners. this image is fabulous and instantly memorable. the variety of textures and shapes, even in a black and white, makes for such a rich image, but there is no missing the main event in this image -- the adorable face peeking out at us. great vision and capture. ~ illona

Thank you, Illona, for the Mark Of Excellence and your comment, I enjoyed it! My name is Denis Malciu and I'm from Romania. The picture was taken in Bucharest with my Sony A7s and Sony FE 35mm F2.8 ZA Carl Zeiss Sonnar T*. I edited the raw file in Adobe Camera Raw, where I applied a VSCO filter.
