Thanks a lot folks, for all your votes. I did not expect the first prize, there were so many awesome pictures in the competition!
This picture was taken during our last family vacation in southern Italy (about 2h drive south of Napoli). You can visit the exact location by going to my panoramio.com account (see below).
To be honest, I was in a hurry when I took this picture. We were out for hiking and my family was constantly pushing me for keeping up with them and not falling behind because of taking pictures. Maybe you know this situation ;-) ?
I used a grey filter, together with following settings of my camera (CANON EOS 50D with my standard walking around lens EF-S 18-135): 5s, f18, ISO100, 18mm
I did not invest a lot in postprocessing. This picture is very close how it came out from the camera. Only the upper right corner of the pictures was too bright which was reduced afterwords a little bit.
