A fun jig-saw composition for this young giraffe. Your close crop brings a creative, graphic dimension to your photograph, the ox pecker makes it even better.

The picture was taken in the Thanda Game Reserve in Kwazulu Natal in South Africa with a Sony a700. This young giraffe was following its mother early in morning at the edge of a thick bush. Very curious, it stopped following its mother and looked at the Land Rover I was sitting in to take pictures of wildlife in the Reserve. I only made very minor post processing changes to the image (a little bit of sharpening and enhancing contrast).
