My name is Paul J Marto Jr. and I shot this beautiful raptor with my Canon 7D & my 100-400mm zoom lens. This gorgeous shot from above is of a juvenile Red-tailed hawk. What makes this particular catch so unique, is not just the amazing perspective, nor the captured shadow. The most amazing part of this composition are the two bright red tail feathers. These signify the transition from juvenile to adulthood.
