I am wildlife photographer Elizabeth Yureklier DiRosa. This is the time of year to find the Tricolor Heron; this juvenile is cooling himself off on a hot summer-day. The mature tricolor heron is often seen stalking its prey in shallow or deeper water, often running as it does so though the wetlands. The juveniles are the funniest of the herons to watch and photograph. (His smile was taken with my old Sony alpha.)
