This is a beautiful and fascinating image, you have brought us an immense landscape with an astonishing scale. The figure on the hilltop (slag?) connects with the sky and anchors my eye, holding me back from the infinite distance of the sea’s horizon. The red roof counters the green fields so subtly, the white clad bales punctuate the many lines. It is a perfectly composed photograph and the scene you have framed has been honoured. Thank you for the nice comments, fantastic that my picture from last year trip to Iceland won the competition. The landscape there are very photogenic. The picture is taken with a Phantom 4 drone and its post processed in Lightroom where i adjusted the colors and clarity.
