This photo is made in East-Greenland in an ice fjord close to Tiniteqilaq, a very small village at the end of the world. This lake of the glaciers is well-known for the icebergs with the famous so called "blue ice". Please believe me: There is no Photoshop color addition or dynamic high range manipulations in it. You could see the blue ice right in front of you. And that gate to hell was so interesting and huge - but our boat captain said "NO" to a trip through. So I had to capture this moment in this photo. Thats the story. Shot in September 2017 with a NIKON D800, 24(-70) mm f/2.8 lens, 1/2000 shutter speed. No past processing in Photoshop or Lightroom.
