- In this photo we're looking south at the the 110 Freeway in downtown Los Angeles. This was taken with a Leica M-P and Zeiss Distagon 1.4/35 ZM. Post processing was done in Adobe Lightroom, mostly to bring out the blue in the photo.

- Hello. My name is Karen Bannon. Iam so honored to receive this "Mark of excellence"!! I shot this picture in Carney,Oklahoma. I used my Nikon Digital D5300. Using a 55-200 lense. I was actually told it was a awful picture. This just goes to show to relax,have faith in yourself, and just enjoy whatever you do. Thank you all very much!!

- Hello everyone! My name is Silvia Sabatini, and I am an Italian amateur photographer. This photo was taken using my Canon EOS 6D and my Canon 16-35 lens, in a magical place called Godafoss, in beautiful Iceland. I have a deep love for Iceland's wilderness, freedom and silence, and I like to travel there everytime I need to charge my batteries. To take this shot, I used a ND1000 filter, but since it was noon, I also had to shade the sky by slowly moving my hand in front of the filter and covering the sky, in order to achieve a proper exposure. My goal in photography is to push people to travel the world, I hope by seeing this pic, you want to pack your bags and go see it in person!

- Peter Dietz, hobby photographer from germany. Thanks to all who voted for my picture. I feel honored. I photographed the dog in the covered wagon this year while family-holidays in the "Sauerland" . It is a very curious dog and the children had a lot of fun playing with it.

- I am Peter Nutkins, an amateur photographer, based in the UK. On my way to visit family I stopped off in Burnham on Sea in Somerset, England. The sun was setting and I just had time to trudge up the beach and take a quick snap of the wooden lighthouse that faces out to sea. I use a Pentax K-1 which provides full frame 35mm images with a colourful punch. To combat a very strong wind I used a heavy Manfrotto tripod. This image was taken with the 31mm f1.8 Limited lens. Small, and made of metal, this lens is not only top quality in producing sharp images it feels great to use. Post processing included recovering shadow detail on the lighthouse as well as some overall tonal contrast adjustments. I also got rid of a bottle left on the sand! To amplify the colours of the sky in the standing water I reflected the sky using luminosity masking. Please check out my images on my website.
