My name is Sonya Lunsford I live in the state of Texas on the New Mexico border, love wildlife photography, I am still learning a lot, this is my first photo competition and am really happy of the turn out.. I took this on a farm in New Mexico the owls like burrowing on the borders. I shot this with a Nikon D50 with 300 mm lenses. Thank you so very much...

- Thank you for the votes. My name is Dodik Putro. This photo was taken at local zoo, on Jakarta INDONESIA. The male lowland silverback Gorilla was on feeding time. What amazing to see how this big and beautiful endangered species so carefully peeling off the fruit he ate. Such a magnificent creature. Nikon D300s and 300mm Nikon lens.

- Thank you so much to everyone who voted for my photograph! This was the second competition I have entered in on this site so I wasn't sure how I'd do. This shot was taken from the front seat of a car in Virginia. We were packing up to go home, as we had been visiting friends, and when I went to start the car, I noticed how the rising sun made the frost on the windshield almost look like it was falling snow. So of course I had to get the picture! It was shot with a PowerShot SX150 on macro mode and all I really did was boost the colors. - Kira Rosemond
