This was taken in the Drakensberg Mountains in South Africa. Camera was a Canon 6D with a Samyang 14mm 2.4 manual lens (the new lens).
This was a dry run for future astro photography. The tent is a small camping tent and I had to hike 2 km in the pitch dark at 21H00 to the top of a plateau to get the shot. There was quite a bit of setup in the dark. Time was short as the milky way was going down.
Just standard post processing using Canon DPP software.
