A closeup portrait of a baby. You captured a lot of calmness and beauty in this black and white photograph. Like it a lot!

This image called "Life" was captured in Austria, Graz in my Newborn home studio. With newborns you have to be really fast because what you might think might be a calm and relaxing situation is really. just. not. :) Sometimes you have seconds, maybe minutes to get your stuff together before the baby awakes. The shot was captured with a Canon EOS 6D and a cheap kit lens. It's not the equipment that makes the picture. Also I shot it at about f5 and focused on the little lashes. The image was shot in monochrome mode, so I did nothing in post processing. On baby's face fell natural light directly through the window, which I diffused with a big white and transparent curtain.
