Landscape Photo Competition 2017 No 5 : Entry Number 75

This is very pleasing as I love this image; it having originated from the most unprepossessing landscape. This was a flooded section of nearby Delamere Forest on a very gloomy day but I was attracted by the stand of silver birch trees on the far side. I was walking the dog at the time and only had my Fujifilm XE1 with 35mm lens on so I did have to crop to isolate the trees. Post processing consisted of slight desaturation, lifting the whites and adding a vignette to draw the eye in.
