Cars and Transport Competition 2 2017 : Entry Number 91

Love this shot, the positioning and the use of the environment to add to the shot are all done really well. It may have been good to give the car a small lift with some additional lighting but its subjective really if I am honest. Its often the case that people over light cars in static shots and that would have really ruined this so its a fine line indeed. Really nice colour work on this and post edit, great shot.

Thank you very much for honoring my shot. I'm Torsten Krebs from Germany near Frankfurt. The Shot was taken with a Leica S2 with Leica 45mm Elmarit in a car park which used to be an airship hangar in former times. The car park is in an business area so I've chosen a calm sunday with nearly no cars in the area for taking my shots. The lighing was done with two simple 300W studio flashes with an Bat Pac and one system flash. By the way my full equipment was transported in my car model - an 74er Mini Innocenti. So it's bigger than it looks ;) I fully agree to the lighting of the car. I tried to lighten it a bit up in post processing but for me it looked to artificial when it was lighter. So I decided to keep it more dark. Better way would have been to have it lighter directly during the shot but for that my equipment reached its limit.
