This is an original macro! The framing is well think you have done well to focus the dragonfly. The texture of the wings is beautifully rendered, the light flash is well managed. The black background really brings out the subject. A very beautiful image.

It was shot with a Nikon D800, Nikkor 105mm f2.8 macro and macro ring flash. This photo was ranked second runner up in the Africa up Close Category of Natures Best Photography Africa 2015, won a silver PSSA medal category winner in an SA competition and multiple national salon acceptances.
