Macro Photo Competition 2015 No 5 : Entry Number 72

Beautiful picture of this wasp, sharpness is very good, composition is impeccable, the only criticism I could do is back too white plan. Superb work.

"German Wasp and Mites" was taken in my garden. I had placed some spots of honey on flowers around the garden. One of the flowers was a white Clematis. The honey attracted the wasp to land and drink. As the wasp was drinking, it was also joined by very small mites. I used a Canon 5D MKii with an MP-E65mm 1-5 x Macro lens and Macro Twin Lite MT-24ex. F/16, ISO 100, 125th sec.
