Thanks for awarding my photo Mark of Excellence. I am very honored to have been selected. My name is Davide Granata, from Rome (Italy). My passion for photography is more then 10 years old. This photo was taken in Rome, during the descent of the escalators subway; Summer 2015. Camera used is a new Leica Q, 28mm f1.7, @400iso and 1/200sec. Post processing with Lightroom and Photoshop, personal color profile and brushes of mine. This shot was really exciting in the simplicity of a teenage love; the spontaneity of a hug translates into the smile of the boy. He has an hypnotic gaze and immobilizes you; What do that look and smile say to you?
