A real icy wilderness to which you have brought a great sense of dimension with the inclusion of the two foreground figures. They look like father and child and they bring a story of adventure to this forbidding landscape. The portrait format adds depth. Well done.

This frozen sea is Øresund - the strait between Denmark and Sweden. The photograph was taken in 2012 looking down from the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art in Humlebæk, Denmark. It was captured through a 35mm Summicron mounted on an M9.
