Hi, My name is Julia Dean and I am a documentary photographer and street shooter living in Los Angeles. I took this picture in Nicaragua while on assignment for Maryknoll Magazine, a Catholic publication. I climbed over a lot of barbed-wire fences this particular day, with two nuns as my guides. I was using my trusty Leica M6 with TriX film.
