This image was captured last summer using my Nikon D300 with the Tamron Sp 70-300mm VC and a set of macro extension tubes.
I had 4 different coloured sheets of paper as background and an off camera flash pointing and firing at them, causing the coloured reflection. For the drops I used an old microphone stand from which I hung a plastic bag with water in it. I pierced the bag with a needle causing the water to drip at a constant interval, thus allowing me to anticipate when I should press the shutter. It was fun but I took so many shots before I got a few that I was happy with.
