Landscape Photo Competition 2015 No 2 : Entry Number 41

You have used the beautiful misty light to show off the delicate shapes of this birch tree’s branches really well and you have given plenty space to the various subjects in this photgraph. The result is a peaceful and moody shot. The added vignette, though perhaps a little too dark, holds the viewer’s eye whilst adding to the misty atmosphere. Well done !

It is an honor to be selected and I really appreciate the "Mark of Excellence"! My name is Martynas Milkevicius, I am photographer from Lithuania and at the moment I am based in Trondheim, Norway. This photograph was taken in surroundings of Lake Næra, Åsmarka in Norway. The judge pretty much exactly described why did I took this image! I used a Canon 5D MKII with Carl Zeiss 21mm lens.
