Well balanced and simple shot that really works and features a car that many years ago I used to own, but perhaps not in that colour… I really like the composition and perhaps would be equally happy to see it without the birds also as I think it is strong enough in its own right

Thank you so much for the recognition of this image. The fact that Tim Wallace judged this competition makes me even happier. I took this almost 20 years ago on Fiuji Velvia with a Canon EOS1 but it is still one of my favourite car photographs. Obviously I moved over to digital many years ago but recently scanned a few of my old images on slides and this was one of them.
