this wonderful capture stands out because of its shallow depth of field and the focus successfully planted on the black cat crouching in the grasses. the choice to convert this to black and white allows the subject to stand out even more. of course, given the cat's firm focus on the camera, i have to wonder about these eyes, and suspect that the image would be just as successful in color. nicely done. ~ illona
