We love how this person is sitting straight up and down for this portrait, yet located in casual surroundings at home with the drawer open and all. Stunning view into a home life.

First of all I would like to thank the jury for having chosen my photograph. My name is Jaromir Carda and my one and only photographical theme are abandoned buildings and their inhabitants. On this photo you can see a man who made his humble living in old ruined monastery. All my photo works come from Czech republic and so do I. I took this photo with Leica D-Lux 5.
