Food Photo Competition 2015 No 1 : Entry Number 49

I love the natural reality of this picture, the crumpled napkin, the empty plate and that homely feel. A nice, very familiar and uncomplicated still-life that we can connect with, without the sterility of a studio.

Lunch in Madrid. As a documentary photographer, I find interesting things everywhere. In front of me was lunch as served by the waiter. It is a special memory for me as I was spending time with my son. A Nikon D7000 was used, and post processing was done with Lightroom. I am most honored that it received a "Mark of Excellence."
