Photo 88: In a way this is a very odd image since the statue almost looks real for a minute, but because of the soft lighting and the powerful composition, its very compelling. Nicely done!

Many thanks for theacknowledgment. I’ve been shooting Venice and it’s people since 4 years now. I prefer winter, raining and fog because of the suggestive atmosphere they create around this beautiful Town and this is one of the images I chose for my portfolio. It shows The Island of S.Giorgio from the extreme end of Venice where a sculpture has been positioned for some months. The fog of a cold winter morning and the sculpture without any uman element occour to create this metaphisic landscape with the atmoshpere I was looking for. M9 and 50 summilux pre-asph.
