I would like to thank the judges for the Mark of Excellence distinction. I am honored to be among so many great photographers. This photograph was taken last year in Chicago. It is a part of the series I did about the life of Mr. Waclaw. The experience was about connecting with another human being and learning about the importance of ordinary instances of life.
