Flower Photo Competition 2 2014 : Entry Number 232

A lot of room for imagination, in this B&W photograph. The square format works well within its composition. The little gnome and the sunflowers create a good story.

I won that garden gnome at a photo competition of our local botanical garden. Since I am not really a gnome person, it stood around and gathered dust for a while. Then, when the sunflowers on our lawn got bigger and bigger, I had the idea to use the gnome as a prop for an unusual sunflower photo. Now, I won a mark of excellence in a photo competition with a picture of a gnome that I had won in another photo competition. Makes me smile ... :)
