This is certainly an interesting location for a landscape shot. Those bushes have great shapes and lots of interesting matter to photograph, the rocks make a lunar backdrop. I feel you haven’t composed your photograph. Maybe you should try using a tripod, you can really concentrate on composition with a tripod, they aren’t only for long exposures. I reckon you have too much sky and not enough of what is interesting on the ground. You have also darkened the sky, giving it an unnatural look and heavy presence taking us away from the vegetation.
