Thank you for voting for two of my images. My name is Catherin Arsenault and I'm from Quebec, Canada. This young hooded merganser was shot in september in Quebec just before the trees lose their leaves. That's why the water is so colorful. I was surprise he came as this close. Shot with a Canon 40D and a Canon 70-200 2.8L on a monopod. Basic ajustments on Lightroom and a little bit of sharpness in Photoshop.
