This shot was taken at a historic house that was moved from downtown Mobile, Alabama to Dauphin Island, Alabama. The house was in severe need of restoration. I entered the house, saw the ladder to the attic and eased up the failing steps. I poked my head through the opening and this is what I saw. I shot with a Rolei 35 with 50mm using Tri-X B&W film at 100 ASA. I propped the camera up for a 1/30 at f/16. This is the original image without touchup. I love to shoot old school by using film in darker situations, as digital hasn't quite caught up in that aspect....yet.
