My name is Jerry Cotten from Lamesa, Texas. This photo is a cropped view of Mesa Arch that shows the "Washer Woman" formation in the center of the frame. You have to get here at least an hour before sunrise to set up your tripod because there will be about 20-25 other photographers vying for the same position! I set up my tripod at midnight and slept in my truck in the parking lot to get the ideal position! Sunrise will make the under side of the arch glow orange to red. Thanks for the votes!
