My name is Jerry Cotten. I took this photo of lightning in west Texas near Lamesa, Tx. I was photographing strikes coming out of the cloud cover in the top of the photo when the wind blew the cloud in the middle across and captured this strike that went right through the center of it. I used a Canon XSI with a 18-270mm zoom lens (bulb setting) on a tripod. Thanks to everyone who voted for it!
