The force of symmetry. Great sunset colours, but what really makes this one work is the vastness of the composition, the slice of land so far away yet still so intriguing. Well done.

By Craig Duncklee. Taken at Chena Lake about 3 miles east of North Pole, Alaska. I used a Nikon d5100 DSLR with a Sigma 18-200mm lens. Photomatix Pro was used to compile 5 images to produce the HDR image.
