Thank you! This was taken at the Quiver Tree Forest near Keetmanshoop, Namibia. Quiver trees are actually aloes, not real trees. They thrive in the hot, dry climate, growing amongst dolerite boulders. The orange glow is light pollution from Keetmanshoop, which adds to the composition. I'm not happy with the placement of the central quiver tree, however, it makes the picture a bit unbalanced. Panoramic stitch of 6 exposures, each 30sec, f/2.8, ISO 3200. Canon 40D + Tokina 11-16mm.
