This is a Pink-backed Pelican (Pelecanus rufescens); they are native to Africa and southern Arabia, where they are usually found in shallow lakes. This is a very beautiful Pink back who lives in a carefully groomed savanna at Animal Kingdom Lodge, reflecting the romance and beauty of African culture.
