I was staying in Burleigh Heads on the Gold Coast and just after dawn, walking along Burleigh Heads beach, I saw this lone fisherman - such a simple activity, enjoyed by many for thousands of years.
But in the distance, Surfers Paradise, the skyscrapers were being touched by the sunrise.
The simplicity of the fisherman against the modern background with the sea spray haze separating them ... I really liked that.
