- The movement, that spontaneous connection between this man and woman, and the story which that creates make this a great street themed shot. The nighttime background, the buildings and strong overhead light bring atmosphere and contrast to this monochrome, the artistic blurr takes us into the eye of the observer. Cracking shot for this competition, well done you scoop the prize!

- The name of this picture is "LOVE IS IN THE AIR" It is a composition of two pictures.The background picture was taken with the Leica SL with Noctilux. The couple was photographed in a Milonga (tango Dancing Bar) with x-pro1/35mm.. The street is in the old town in Stuttgart. Since I wanted to put the erotic tension between this couple in a framework of its own, I transposed the couple in a street that belongs only to them, hence the blurred touches. It is a dream. Strangers and difference are next to the eternal theme of love, this picture shows the mind space in which two human beings encounter each other. They are alien and they find that irresistible. Cheers to erotic love🥂

- A nice social moment with a somewhat cluttered feel which comes from the very real impression we get of an outsider’s spontaneous and stolen viewpoint. Nice shot, well done.

- This is a beautiful portrait with a strong balanced composition and lovely colours. Street kids striking a lovely pose which conjures feelings of the past and of what is perhaps yet to come.

- The street has long been a favourite playground and gathering place for local kids. This photo really captures that important social togetherness with a nice low angle and dynamic composition.

- The long exposure brings chaos and movement, a nice flow to the travellers, but the puzzled look on that one passenger’s face reveals a contrasting more stressful side to station orienteering.

- Here is a composition from the very top drawer and a stunning architectural image. The play with blue and yellow, contrasting opposite colours and a very graphic and precise frame make this photo so extraordinary. But this image doesn’t convey (sadly) the sponaneity one would hope to see in street themed photography.

- Another extraordinary shot which would lift the prize in so many architectural photography competitions. Everything is so precise and perfectly planned. Sadly the street theme is once again just missing.
