Child Photo Competition 2016 No 1 : Results

I had to look at this photo again and again. Always went back to this photo to to have another look at it. And finally I have chosen it as the winning picture of this child competition. Natural and honest. A portrait of a young girl on the step between a child and a teenager. Timeless but also modern. You have used a color filter and this transfers this picture into our time. But as I said it has also something from another time. It reminds me also on the Pre-Raphaelites in the 19th Century. Somehow melancholic and also refreshing. Congratulation to this fabulous shot!

I called this photo Nina's flip . That's the name of my nephew . It was actually one of my first shot when I really started to get into photography 5 years ago with my first DSLR . It was on a Sunday , and we had a family boat trip to some islands in the Andaman sea .
