Well the atmosphere here is fabulous, the pannicked zebras and the hunting lioness in a dusty savannah confusion. Almost made a top spot but i feel the focus is just in the wrong place. Not an easy one to manage so a great effort, well done.

Failed ambush ! Taken in the Masai Mara, along the banks of the Mara river. This lioness frequently lies in ambush at this location, using the nearby bushes as cover to try to surprise animals that come down to drink. Sometimes she gets lucky, but this was not her day..... Camera, Canon 7Dii, 300mm f2.8mm ii lens with 1'4 converter. As shot except cropping and saturation adjustment.
