Beautiful tones and play with dreamy focus.

the story behind the picture? this beautiful rose is in my front yard. A couple of years ago Dad cut it back to the point of death, at least that's what my Mom thought. Cue to 2015: it's flourished with multiple blooms even into the fall... Minolta Maxxum 5D 6.1 MP - 50mm 1.7 me? very amateur, but... working on that! I picked up my camera to change my focal point during cancer treatment in January 2015 and just can't put it down. I'm NED now and hooked on photography, still in my backyard (energy). You learn a lot about the seasons, microscopic life through the lens... Like my rose I am flourishing (working on that) and I am trying to teach myself to see and think through each situation better.
