the shallow depth of field in this image allows the subject to truly stand out. the muted tones suggest a foggy morning, and the fencing suggests the beach. if that is the case, it would certainly be interesting to see a wider, horizontal shot of this to involve the landscape in the photo. either way, the receding fence, and the intent focus of the cat make for a wonderful photo. nicely done. ~ illona
