i commend this photographer for seeing the possibilities in what was probably a rather drab setting ... there is not a lot of magic in the light of this image or setting, but the lines and the starkness work to allow the subject to stand out in a scene where we might not typically expect to find a dog. nicely seen and executed. ~ illona

Thank you very much. The picture was taken in Central Park, New York, right after a rainstorm. The camera was an Olympus OM-D E-M5 with the 25mm Leica DG Summilux f1.4 lens. Shot wide open. I was surprised that the dog sat still long enough for me to get a reasonably sharp exposure. He was staring at a squirrel.
