My name is Francis Prior, I am 20 years old and live in liverpool. I study Biology at Aberystwyth university and have a passion for wildlife and the environment. I have a Canon 550D and use a home made setup for my macro photography. This image of a jumping spider was created using a technique known as focus stacking, of around 300 images. The post processing was stacking the images adding bokeh, increasing the sharpness and toning also.
