First of all I want to thank you for choosing my photo as the winner of this contest - I am honoured! My name is Markus Heitkämper from Germany / Essen. In 2011 this picture was made in Tuscany and it represents my photographic aim: capturing those life's little moments whose meanings are always in the eye of the beholder. Therefore the elected photo is ambiguous, too: Is there a tender and intimate atmosphere? Are these two human beings sadly or simply - tired? Shot with Leica M9P and 35mm FLE, wide open; post processed in LR 4 and Nik Silver Efex Pro 2. All the best Markus Heitkämper
